I just spent the last hour wandering around my house, trying to find places to put all the books that currently reside on my floor, so I can vacuum my living room and bedroom tomorrow.
Not that this will deter me from buying more books, you understand. I just need more bookcases.

me: “HERESY!!!!” (since he also has a Serious Book Problem, I came by it honestly…)
Absolutely! I’ve gotten somewhat better about passing along books I don’t enjoy that much but it’s still a difficult parting!

I’ve currently got books living on the floor underneath my bed, book cases and couches… cause I can’t fit the vacuum under there anyways, and it’s easier to just nudge them under than find places to put them!

That’s pretty good, Sara. I end up stacking mine beside bookcases, on tables and unused chairs. I consider them decoration!
I was complaining to my mom about the cramped space in our new (much smaller) apartment. She looked around and said “You don’t want to hear my suggestion.” (My solution btw was buying a smaller dinning room table to increase space). She indicated some of our books “Just get rid of some of this stuff.” Um…yeah.
We have 9 cases and still have piles of books.
Smaller table, rented life, definitely a smaller table.
