I freely admit that I don’t always enjoy Christmas shopping. It’s just so darn stressful, trying to find a present for everyone on my list. Not that I’m trying to find the “perfect present” – whatever that means – I simply want to find something that the recipient will like. It’s not easy. I wander through stores, scroll through websites, ponder in the shower, text family members – and then end up buying everyone books anyway.
I’m happy to say that I’m doing much better this year. I picked up a few presents in Home State over Thanksgiving; I’ve ordered a few things online. And today, while I was running a few errands, I somehow managed to finish most of my shopping. Score! I still have a few people (and projects) to finish but I’m feeling much better about my gift giving this year.
